Business Category

  • You have to be an executive officer and a signatory of a Thai business for at least one year.
  • The Thai-registered business must have a capital of at least 10 million Baht.
  • The Thai-registered business must have an earning of at least 50,000 Baht per month for two years prior to filing the application.
  • This work must also have considerations relevant to the Thai economy.

Employment Category

  • Have an earning of at least 80,000 Baht per month for two years in a row.
  • Proof of submission of a tax return for an annual income of 100,000 Baht or more for two years in a row.
  • Have a work permit for at least three years in a row and is working with your current employer for at least one year.

Humanitarian Category

Expert Category

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher education.
  • Work in a position that needs him/her to spend at least three years in Thailand.

The list of documents you’ll need for your application is dependent on the category and circumstances in which you’re applying. You must first contact the immigration office where you intend to apply and inquire about the documentation mandate. You will get instructions to produce the following documents:

Process of PR Visa Application

You have to appear for an interview with an immigration officer at a Thai Immigration Office as part of your application for a Thai Permanent Residence Visa. Moreover, you have to face questions on the basis of your documents, your background, and your religious beliefs. All of your responses will be recorded, and following the interview, you will be requested to sign the forms.
